Jan worked with Theo for many years. Theo was always a fine colleague. But lately, Theo has been less reliable. He often comes in late,starts to get sloppy in his work. Jan knows that Theo has always been a heavy drinker. Recently Jan smelled the alchohol on the breath of Theo. He was brave enough to confront Theo about this. Theo promised to cut back, he said that his current drinking pattern was just a phase, \u2018it will pass\u2026\u2019. But it didn\u2019t get better. Indeed. In fact, Theo looked worse every day.
