I
Q

Are you worried about a colleague?

My colleague's behavior and motivation changed (negatively).

My colleague looks poorly and takes less care of herself than before.

My colleague suffers from mood swings.

I can rely less and less on my colleague, agreement is no longer agreement.

My colleague is increasingly late or suddenly cancels.

More and more mistakes or mishaps are made, and my colleague easily waved it away.

My colleague can react very violently when I call him on something.

My colleague avoids me and cancels appointments regularly.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We are here for you!

There is a solution

The solution is in not looking away!

We understand how difficult it is to start the conversation with a colleague. You sense from everything that things are not going well, but how to proceed? You also don’t want to be the one who causes your colleague to have to go on the mat with HR or management

Perhaps engaging in the conversation is even part of your responsibilities, but how do you properly engage in a conversation about such a sensitive topic?

Do not hesitate to get in touch, explain the situation and share your concerns. The latter alone can be a huge relief. We will then work together to see how we can best help your colleague. Safe, discreet and anonymous for you, too.

We can help you!

Dependence or addiction on a co-worker affects the workplace and the performance of others in the company

You wonder if you are seeing correctly, maybe you are imagining it? And what will happen if your colleague, because of your actions, has to go to HR or management. How will your colleague react when you bring it up? These kinds of questions deter colleagues from seeking help.

We think this should and can be changed!

Case Study

Jan worked with Theo for many years. Theo was always a fine colleague. But lately, Theo has been less reliable. He often comes in late, starts to get sloppy in his work. Jan knows that Theo has always been a heavy drinker. Recently Jan smelled the alchohol on the breath of Theo. He was brave enough to confront Theo about this. Theo promised to cut back, he said that his current drinking pattern was just a phase, ‘it will pass…’. But it didn’t get better. Indeed. In fact, Theo looked worse every day. Jan didn’t want to be a squealer. That was the moment that Jan decided to cal us. Together with Jan, we entered into a conversation with Theo, without the employer being informed. Currently Theo is being treated in an outpatient facility.
